Ride Report: EG Freshness!

Posted by B-San on May 9, 2012 at 1:15 PM

Its been a while since we had a nice report on a car again. After the PS13, Godzilla & R35 and the R34 V-spec II Nür it was time to take a look at something not so... Nissan-ish. Our member from the first hour, NagyB hunted down this awesome EG Civic. All dressed up in the current low Cali-style. Eventhough the pictures look like they came straight out of a industrial estate somewhere in LA or San Fransico; in reality its brightening up the streets of Hungary!

This EG shows that there is a possible balance between form and function. The fresh combination of the (ofcourse Akima) roofrack and the bright orange 15" 9J XXR's make it quite a looker...

...while under the hood we find a modified B20(Z2)-engine with a installed B16-head and Type-R manifold. Its also running some parts of PasswordJDM's catalog like the intake and (3-point) towerbar besided the Bisimoto Engineering headers and AEM ECU. To blow out all the gasses trough the 2.5" straight-pipe exhaust.

That for as far as the "go-parts" go. The interior is featuring quite some SiR-parts and a GodSpeed X-bar, NRG seats & belts. And it all sits on a Skunk 2 Pro-suspention kit. Enough with the speclist rambling, on with the photo's...

Special thanks to our member NagyB for this report!
